Spring is coming! And so are some exciting changes at Norfolk Yarn.
After 20 years of running Norfolk Yarn, Becky has decided that it is time to step back from the full-time commitment of owning a business and to pass it on to Mandy. Mandy is an experienced knitter and has been working in the shop since June 2020.
But don’t worry, Becky will still be working part-time and offering her inspirational classes.
Temporary Shop Closure
The shop will be closed from 23 until 30 March, so we can stocktake, redecorate and rearrange some of our displays.
The last day we will be open before the refurbishment will be Saturday 21 March and we will be open for extended hours from 9am until 6pm. The East Anglia Yarn Festival is also on at the Norfolk Showground all weekend, so make time to visit us both!
Website
The website will also be down for maintenance from 23 March until 1 April.
Orders
We will not be placing any orders with our suppliers between 6 March and 1 April.
Clearance Sale
We will shortly be launching a clearance sale both instore and online for ranges that we won’t be stocking in the future. Some items will only be available instore, so do plan a visit!
While we’re sorry that some things will be going, we are also excited to be adding lots of new things after we reopen.
Workshops
We will be adding a new calendar of courses in April.
Gift vouchers
Will continue to be valid until their expiry date.
Loyalty cards
A new loyalty card scheme will be launching from 1 April. If you already have a loyalty card, you can continue to acquire stamps and redeem a completed card until the end of June 2026.
And finally…
We hope you are as excited by these changes as we are. We are so grateful for your support over the last 20 years and look forward to looking after your yarny needs for the next 20 years!
If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us, by email, phone or by popping into the shop.
Warmest regards
Becky and Mandy
