About Our Shop
Having now been trading for 12 years we are a small family run yarn shop in the centres of Norwich, manned by me, Rebecca, and on occasion my husband Paul, mum Christine, my daughter Caitlin, who assists on Saturdays and holidays and is gradually working her way through the website to bring it all up to date.
We are continuing to grow, adding new lines every season, this year bringing in British wool from West Yorkshire Spinners, and fabrics from Kaffe Fassett and Free Spirit, with an emphasis on the British Wool and natural fibres. Hopefully this will provide inspiration to crafters new and old.
One of our aims is to bring a range of crafts to a wider audience and to this end we regularly hold workshops for knitting, crocheting, felting and patchwork as well as the very popular spinning. Please ask in store for details, and like us on Facebook for regular updates.
Please remember that if you are working on a large project we can help you spread the cost by using our lay away service. We also have a loyalty card for regular customers, please ask in store.
We are also on Facebook - please search for Norfolk Yarn and become a friend.
We are especially fond of good quality yarns and strong colours, believing that the time and effort put in needs to be rewarded with a beautiful finished garment.
We look to our customers to keep letting us know what they like (or don't like) and how we can improve, so please let us know if you have any problems. Its always nice to get feedback on yarns and finished projects, so let us see what you can do and we may share it with others.
Many thanks to Boo Marshall at Dynamic Dog Photography for all her hard work with the additional product photography for the new website.
