About Our Shop

Norfolk Yarn was started by Rebecca in December 2005. We moved to our current location in the vibrant Norwich Lanes in March 2014. Mandy took over the business in April 2026 and is in the process of making changes to the shop and the website.

We stock a wide range of yarn from various suppliers, but our website is not always up to date with our bricks and mortar shop, so if a particular yarn from one of our suppliers is not on the website, or you need a larger quantity than the website says we have in stock, please do phone us on 01603 927034 or better still, visit us in person.

Knitting, crochet, weaving and spinning are all physical, tangible hobbies and as such we believe the best way to buy your supplies is in person. Colours can look different in real life and yarn definitely cannot be squeezed on a screen! We are always happy to help you choose patterns and yarn and offer advice and guidance if you run into problems during your project.
