Tessellation Nation ran as a pilot project in 2024 and we have been blown away by the AMAZING designs that my group of pioneers created! They took a leap of faith and a trip into the unknown and it’s paid off!
Thanks to this group of brave makers there are now many different versions and interpretations of the original design to help and inspire you on your own Tessellation Nation journey.
This is what this course will give you:
You’ll be guided through the process of developing your own colour palette so your work is guaranteed to be drop dead gorgeous!
You’ll be shown how to explore different compositions so your design work is always balanced and well composed.
Course content will include templates you can colour in to experiment with different motifs and placements.
You’ll be provided with a collection of crochet motifs all designed to tessellate (or fit together) perfectly allowing lots of different, and beautiful, configurations.
You’ll build your confidence as a designer and a maker.
You’ll be encouraged to work with any yarn of your choice – including your existing stash!
You’ll be part of a social network and global community of likeminded crafters.
You’ll be provided with opportunities to organise your own community meet ups for support, conversations and yarn swaps.

Making wearable crochet GLORIOUS!
The GLORIA Capelet is a beautiful floral yoked crochet garment that can take your existing skills to new levels and reward you with an exquisitely beautiful and wearable work of art.
This crochet course is an 8-week interactive, video based programme that will guide you in detail, through the process of making a beautiful floral garment that’s exciting to make and easy to wear.
Workshops will be delivered twice weekly in the form of detailed video tutorials and downloadable PDF’s.
You will also be supported by an optional Online Meetups and you’ll also be invited to join a private Facebook Page and the exclusive private Online Crochet Community so you can connect and be sociable!
The course includes instructions on making three different sized capelets. Each size is approximately 32 cm deep. The smallest size has a hem circumference of approximately 170cm, the medium size measures approximately 180cm and the largest size measures approximately 190cm.
The flower motifs are ‘joined as you go’ and worked in 4ply Coop Knits Socks Yeah Yarn in 7 different colours. Shop here
The standard size using the recommended yarn and colours requires 9 skeins of yarn in total and you will be guided through choosing your colours in the course introduction.
