The next meeting will be on Tuesday 7th September in store from 10-12. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available and knitters of all abilities are welcome to come along and join in. You will also be able to take up one of our customer loyalty cards that allow you to save towards free wool!

If you can not find what you are looking for, please contact the store and we will be more than happy to help you. In many cases we can order what you need and have it in very quickly, (please note that some lines are dyed to order and can take longer, indicated by stock levels in "more info").

Please remember that colours can look different on computer compared to real life and if an exact colour match is important please phone and ask for a sample.

Postage:  All items posted are sent Royal Mail 1st Class post and we aim to process your order within 24 hours. The current postal costs are parcels up to 500g - £2.95, parcels over 500g - £3.95.

A new programme will be going up shortly for the new year. For all of you interested in knitting socks I am setting up a page especially for you which will cover all my sock yarns and accessories so take a look.

New yarns and books from Debbie Bliss, including Glenn, a chunky weight wool/acrylic that has a very subtle colour change, and Andes, a baby alpaca/silk dk, which is just gorgeous. Books for both these yarns as well as 4 other new books for excisting yarns. We have alpaca silk aran coming in as a stock item and new colours in all other yarn types. We now stock the largest range of colours of baby cashmerino in Norfolk.

Louisa Harding has four new books in so far, and two new yarns, and Noro have two new books and new yarns Kogarashi and Kochoran.

Artesano have bought out a lovely quality superwash merino dk for only £3.70 per 50g, and Manos del Uruguay have new Silk blend laceweight which will be lovely for Christmas pressies. Also coming later is a hand dyed pure merino aran called Maxima which has some stunning colours.

So lots to keep you busy through the colder months.

 

We are agents for Ashford Spinning and Weaving supplies and have several spinning wheels in store which we use for teaching spinning workshops and for you to try out when deciding which one you wish to buy. We also have a rigid heddle loom set up for you to have a go at weaving. Large items are ordered directly for customers and are generally delivered within a few days. We keep a stock of carders, spare bobbins, drive bands and other spinning accessories  in store as well as natural fleece, Corriedale tops and Merino/silk sliver in a variety of colours.
