Come along and join our knit and knatter on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. Our next meeting will be on the 2nd July, from 10 -12pm. Tea, biscuits and good company so bring along your knitting or crochet project and join in.

If you want to learn the basics in knitting come along and see me in store and I will teach you, free of charge. Just phone and check I am free or call in for a chat.

Please remember that although we do our best to reproduce yarn colour accurately the colour of yarns shown on this website will vary from the real thing due to photography and screen resolution. If in doubt please ask for a sample. We are able to post parcels across the UK and EU, with the current charges being £2.95 for parcels under 500g, and £3.95 for all parcels 500g and over. For postage outside this region please email for detalis.

Rowan Wintertide book to supplement the designs in the British Sheep Breeds and Renew yarns

A new line in from Jarol- the first British spun, British wool aran weight superwash to be produced in the UK for many years. It comes in natural colours at the very good price of £6.50 per 100g (170m). This yarn doesn't have a space on the website, please ring the store to purchase.

Also new in are the beautiful Mili style silk needle cases and knitting bags, which will be up on the website very soon.

We are agents for Ashford Spinning and Weaving supplies and have several spinning wheels in store which we use for teaching spinning workshops and for you to try out when deciding which one you wish to buy. We also have a rigid heddle loom set up for you to have a go at weaving. Large items are ordered directly for customers and are generally delivered within a few days. We keep a stock of carders, spare bobbins, drive bands and other spinning accessories in store as well as natural fleece, Corriedale tops and Merino/silk sliver in a variety of colours.
