Araucania yarns are all hand dyed by artisans in South America, giving some lovely colour combinations and a truly original finished product.

The Ranco yarn knits very well as socks, but can of course be used in other 4 ply patterns. The Aysen yarn is particuarly gorgeous, a blend of merino, alpaca and silk and knits to an aran weight.
