Patons Colour Works Aran is an acrylic wool blend and known as a modern 'chainette' yarn. It knits up quickly on 6.5mm needles but down to it's structure, it forms a lightwieght fabric that has great elasticity. Each colourway is a combination of different colours forming a natural shaded effect.
