Workshops for 2012

Mystery Blanket - Starting on Saturday 21st January we will be running a mystery blanket workshop once a month throughout next year. Each square, (approximately 12" x 12"), of the blanket will tackle a different technique to produce a blanket / throw by the end of the year. We will be working with Artesano aran, a lovely wool / alpaca blend, which comes in a wide range of naturals and colours. The cost of this workshop is £25 which includes a 100g hank of Artesano Aran (normally £8.75) and each workshop will run from 10-1pm, (once full, a second group can run in the afternoon, 2-5pm). A pair of 5mm needles will be required, which I can provide, or you can bring your own.

 

All materials required on the day are provided, along with tea and coffee, but you do need to bring a packed lunch with you for the whole day workshops.

All classes need to be booked and payed for in advance.

We now have a new Traveller wheel to allow practise on a double treadle, as well as our previous wheels. The classes are aimed at beginners and we keep the classes small to allow for individual tuition so remember to book early to avoid disappointment.

If you have a group of 3-4 people who want to learn together I can arrange days other than Saturdays, please contact me to arrange this.

Workshops are held between 10 am and 4pm and will be charged at £45 and we will provide all the equipment you need on the day.  We provide tea and coffee during the day but you will need to bring a packed lunch. All places to be booked in and paid for in advance.
